Description

The Adlam monument is a chest tomb located about 3.5 metres north of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Longbridge Deverill. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features two fielded panels and fielded pilasters on its main sides, topped with a moulded flat surface. It commemorates Edmund Tanner Adlam, who died in 1816. At the time of the survey in June 1985, the monument was complete but in poor condition.
