Description
Corner Elm is a house built in 1854, with a later extension in the 20th century. It is constructed of painted brick with raised quoins and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, arranged in an 'L' plan, with an additional half-bay extending to the right. The central entrance has a half-glazed door set within a 20th-century porch, and there is a datestone above that reads "WH 1854." The windows on the ground floor are sixteen-paned sashes, while those on the first floor are twelve-paned, all with rendered wedge lintels. The eaves are boxed, and the roof is hipped with a central brick chimney stack. At the rear, there is a wing with two bays that includes a 20th-century conservatory.
