Description
The Estate House is a detached building, now divided into four separate dwellings. It was built in the mid-18th century and has undergone alterations in the 20th century. The structure is made of Flemish bond brick with stone dressings and features a tiled hipped roof with brick stacks. It has an L-shaped plan and is two stories high, with a three-window front that faces at right angles to the road.
The central entrance has a round-arched doorcase with a keystone, leading to a door with two fielded panels and a fanlight above. On either side of the entrance are round-arched entries to other doors, and there are 16-pane sash windows with segmental-arched heads and keystones on both sides. A stone plat band at the first floor is ramped in the center, with three 16-pane sashes featuring segmental-arched heads and keystones above.
The right side of the building, which faces the road, has five 16-pane sashes with the same detailing, two of which are inserted into blocked doorways. The first floor features a ramped stone plat band and five 16-pane sashes. The rear of the building includes a door with six fielded panels and two 12-pane sashes on both the ground and first floors, accompanied by a plat band.
On the left side, there is a central round-arched opening with inserted 20th-century casements, a 20th-century door, and a 12-pane sash on the left, while the right side has a 12-pane sash and a blocked segmental-arched doorway. The first floor has a three-brick plat band and three 12-pane sashes, along with an eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
