Description

This is a late 19th-century terrace of three storeys, part of a larger weavers' terrace. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has double-roman tiled roofs and brick chimneys. The window arrangement is asymmetrical. Most windows retain their original 2 and 3-light second-floor weavers’ windows with glazing bars. Number 24 has 2-light glazing bar sash windows set within stone surrounds with beaded inner edges, while number 25 has later glazed sash windows in flush-moulded frames. Numbers 22 and 24 have paired glazing bar sashes on the ground floor; numbers 23 and 26 have modern casements. Most properties retain doorcases with flush moulding and have half-glazed doors, although number 25 has a modern shop front with a central entrance.

Numbers 14 to 26 form a group.
