Description
The wall, gatepiers, and gates to Wesley Road Methodist Church were built around 1871. The wall stands approximately 5 feet high and features raised dies that indicate where a former fence once stood. The gates are positioned at an angle to Newtown. The gate piers are monolithic and have carved foliage beneath pyramidal caps. The gates include suspended dog rails and ornamental finials on the top rail, with wide scrolled leaves adorning the end gate posts.
