Description
No. 11 High Street is a cottage located at the end of a row in Cheverell Magna, dating from the 18th century. It features colourwashed brickwork and a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and follows a two-bay lobby entry plan, with a stack in the left bay and a third bay added to the left end. The central entrance consists of a panelled door. The ground floor has three-light windows, while the upper floor has two-light windows, with the upper sections of each light paned. Segmental brick arches are present above the windows. The letters "L H" are formed in vitrified headers between the upper windows. The added left bay has a blocked door and window, with a lozenge pattern in the brickwork at the rear, and features a hipped thatched roof. There is also a single-storey, two-bay pantiled extension at the rear on the right, with a central brick stack and an additional stack on the left gable. A wide flush dormer is located at the rear.
