Description

The garden balustrade at Hartham House is a low wall with balustrades, constructed in the mid or late 19th century using ashlar stone. It features two curved sections that flank the east doorway. The left section continues around the south garden, ramps up to the raised terrace on the west side, and runs along the west front. This section is interrupted by two flights of steps that connect to a short screen wall with a pedimented gateway at the north end of the west garden.
