Description

The wellhead in the south garden of Hartham House dates from the 15th or 16th century and is made of Istrian stone. It is circular in shape and features a moulded square cap with foliage carving at the corners. The wellhead was originally Venetian and was repurposed as a garden ornament around 1900. Above it, there is a decorative wrought iron arch and pulley, also added around 1900.
