Description

This is a 17th-century building, originally a post office located on Bath Road. It is two storeys high and constructed of rubble with ashlar quoins, topped with a stone-tiled roof. The front features two windows. The upper floor has a three-light casement window with stone mullions and a dripmould, while the ground floor has a four-light casement window, also with stone mullions and a dripmould. A plain wooden door is sheltered by a wooden porch. The building holds group value as a well-preserved example of its period and type.
