Description

This is a range of small houses and shops dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, which have been altered over time. The buildings are two storeys and have attics. The frontages are stuccoed, with the exception of number 8, which has a facade of Bath stone with a gable. The roofs are covered in old tiles. The Church Farm Dairy has an early 19th-century shop front featuring a wide, moulded cornice enriched with acanthus ornament above a glazed shop door. Most of the windows and shop fronts are from the 19th century. Numbers 4 to 8 form a group with numbers 40 to 48A on the opposite side of Kingsbury Street and with numbers 1, 17 and 18 Silvester Street.
