Description

Pipers Cottage is a house from the 18th century, constructed of painted brick and rubble stone, featuring a half-hipped thatched roof and a ridge stack. The building has one and a half storeys. Originally, it was double fronted with two pairs of casement windows under eyebrow hoods, and a central door with a cambered head and a casement pair on each side. However, the left window has been replaced with a 20th-century triple casement, and a rubble stone addition has been made to the right, which includes a ground floor casement pair. The north end wall is made of rubble stone with red brick quoins. It is said to date from 1670.
