Description

The former Wesleyan Chapel, dated 1828, is a red brick building with a pantiled roof. It has flush ashlar surrounds for the windows and door. The windows are Gothic, featuring two lights with Y-tracery and pointed arches, containing small panes and intersected tracery in the window heads. There are two large windows on the south side and a smaller window at the east end, above doors set within a broad, depressed-arched surround containing a keystone. The west end wall is rendered. The interior is plain and includes an east gallery supported by two columns. In 1987, the chapel was in use as a store.
