Description
This barn, located to the south west of Newcourt and Newcourt Farmhouse, dates from the mid-19th century. It features an English bond plinth with weatherboarding on a timber frame and has a tiled roof. The structure consists of four bays. On the west side, there are sliding corrugated iron doors, and to the left, a planked door set in a chamfered case, along with three-light casement windows. The east side includes a pivot-hung window. Inside, the roof trusses are constructed with cranked tie-beams, raking struts to the principals and collars, and two tiers of purlins with windbracing on the upper tier. The barn is attached at its northern end to a stable.
