Description
The building is a stable, now used as stores, located to the southwest of Newcourt and Newcourt Farmhouse. It dates from the early 17th century but was rebuilt in the 19th century. The structure is made of flint and brick with limestone quoins, and it features a tiled roof. It has four bays and is one storey high with an attic. The front of the stable includes a stable door and a two-light casement window with a fixed window to the left. The rear has a planked stable door and two segmental-arched windows, with a loft door that has a hipped gablet. Inside, there are brick partitions on the ground floor, a studded partition on the upper floor, and wooden loose boxes equipped with fittings such as feed troughs. The roof structure includes two collars per truss, clasped purlins, and windbracing. The stable is attached to the southwest barn.
