Description

These are a row of four terraced buildings dated to the early 18th century, with Nos 2 and 3 perhaps originating from the late 17th century, and the others likely later additions. The buildings are two storeys high and constructed of brick, with rendered frontages. They have pantile roofs to the left-hand side and extend from the rear of No 24 West End. Each range of the terrace has two windows. The windows are mainly casements, some with glazing bars. Nos 2 and 3 have outer frames from two-light ovolo mullion windows on the first floor. No 3 has a three-light casement window on the ground floor to the left, and a Fire Insurance Mark positioned below the eaves. No 5 has been altered, with glazing bar sashes on the ground floor and fixed windows on the first floor. The central doorways feature stone brackets supporting hoods, although the brackets and hoods of No 5 have been cut and moulded. A fine flagstone path runs in front of the buildings.
