Description

ATWORTH CHURCH STREET ST 86 NE (south side) 2/49 Two unidentified monuments in the churchyard between 15 and 16 metres east of tower of Church of St Michael and All Angels GV II

One chest tomb and one pedestal tomb. Early C19. Limestone. Square pedestal tomb has plain beaded panels and reeded pilasters, plain frieze and shaped convex top, partly illegible inscription with date 1817. To east is tomb with low-relief carved oval panels and drapery, fluted frieze and moulded weathered top.
