Description

The Brodie and associated monument, located in the churchyard 30 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of All Saints in Winterslow, consists of two chest tombs from the early 19th century. They are made of fossiliferous limestone and share a similar design featuring a roll-moulded table and a moulded base. The tombs have corner and central flush fluted pilasters that divide fielded panels. The north tomb bears an inscription for Reverend P. Bellinger Brodie, who died in 1804, while the inscription on the south tomb is illegible and indicates a death in 1816.
