Description

Home Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse, altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rendered material and has a tiled roof with a pair of diagonally-set brick stacks dating to the 17th century. The building follows an L-shaped plan. The front facade, which faces the road, is two storeys high and has two windows. It features a 20th-century casement window to the left and two 12-pane sash windows to the right. The first floor has two sash windows. A wing projects to the right of the main range and also features sash windows. The left return of the main range includes a three-light ground-floor casement, a pair of small sash windows to the first floor, and a 12-pane sash window in the attic. The right return was partly rebuilt in the early 20th century and incorporates a timber-framed gable, an entrance door, and casement windows. The interior was not accessible at the time of survey in February 1987.
