Description
No. 29 High Street is a detached house built around 1820. It features a front made of limestone ashlar, with returns in English garden wall brick, and a Welsh slate roof that has gable end brick stacks. The house is two stories tall and has three windows across the front. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped by a transom light, all set within a tent porch that has decorative wooden latticed sides. On either side of the door are 16-pane sash windows, which are placed in a recessed elliptical-arched panel. The first floor has a blind central window within an arched panel, flanked by two 16-pane sash windows. The building has deep eaves supported by paired wooden brackets. At the rear, there is an integral two-storey outshut that features small 20-pane sash windows.
