Description

No. 5 St Ann Street is a former pair of houses, with one half demolished, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building is two storeys tall with an attic, constructed of red brick on a projecting plinth. There is a band between the storeys and a gable-end slate roof featuring two hipped roof dormers. The first floor has three windows, with the centre one blocked, while the ground floor has two windows, all of which are sashes with renewed glazing bars. The central door consists of six fielded panels and has a plain rectangular fanlight above it. The doorcase is adorned with pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice.
