Description

The granary at Cozens is a mid-18th century structure located in Orcheston St. Mary. It is built from English bond brick with vitrified headers on the front and right side, while the left side and rear feature Flemish bond brick. The granary stands on staddlestones and has a thatched half-hipped roof. The front of the building has a planked door fitted with good strap hinges, and there are wooden chamfered mullioned windows in the gables on both the left and right sides. Inside, the granary has two floors and features a chamfered ceiling beam with run-out stops.
