Description

Nos 35 and 36 on Main Road are a pair of houses dating from the late 17th century. They are constructed from rubble stone and feature a stone slate roof with end stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have a five-window range of recessed chamfered mullion windows, with hoodmoulds above the three ground floor windows, which alternate with doors. No 35, located on the left, has an ovolo mullion window above its door, which is an altered or later addition, and its walls are painted. No 36 has restored or renewed mullions, a 20th-century enclosed stone porch, a rendered west wall, and a 20th-century rear wing.
