Description

The steps, revetment walls, and gate piers at the entrance to the Church of St Peter were likely built in the 1860s. The revetment walls are made of rubble stone and feature saddleback coping alongside the stone steps. These steps are connected to square dressed limestone gate piers that have curved tops and bear the initials S and P, representing St Peter. Additionally, there is a cast-iron overthrow with a lantern.
