Description

This boundary post, located on the south side of the drive to Guernsey Farm, dates from around 1840. It is a cast-iron T-shaped post featuring a low pedimented top. The front of the post has raised lettering, with "KNOOK" on the right-hand arm and "UPTON LOVELL" on the left-hand arm. This post is part of a series of boundary posts and mileposts created by the Warminster ironfounders, Carson and Miller.
