Description

Lower Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that has been converted into two cottages. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The building stands two storeys high and has four bays, with a two-storey extension at the rear (east) and a right bay that dates from the 19th to early 20th century, which contains the entrance. The windows are timber casements. There is an axial stack and a stack located at the north gable. Inside, there is a fireplace in the third bay, which has a high timber overmantel beam.
