Description

The White House is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Manningford Bruce. It is timber-framed, with a brick and Malmstone facade to the gable, and a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and five bays wide. A central 5-panelled door is sheltered by a thatched canopy. There are 19th-century four-pane casement windows, each set within a segmental brick arch. Gable stacks are positioned either side of the central entrance bay and a central stack is also present. The fifth bay is single-storey and has an attic; it previously contained a second door.
