Description
41 Church Street is a terraced house located in Torquay, dating from the 19th century. The building is rendered and features a gabled slate roof, with a rendered stack that has a platband. The house has a single-depth main block and is two storeys tall. The front has an asymmetrical design with two windows and a buttress on the left side. To the left, there is a round-headed doorway that includes a fanlight with spoke glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a window to the right, and two first-floor windows that were originally sashes but have unfortunately been reglazed with 20th-century plate glass, although they still respect the original embrasures. There is also a square-headed passage entrance to the left. The interior has not been inspected but may contain features of interest. This property is included for its group value with surrounding buildings.
