Description

This is a mid-19th century terraced house, located at 17, 19 and 21 Church Street, Torquay. The building comprises a single-depth main range, two rooms wide with a central entrance.

The front façade has two storeys and a 1:3-bay symmetrical design. A 20th-century glazed, gabled porch sits to the front, leading to a half-glazed door with margin panes. There are two ground-floor and three first-floor flush-frame sashes with 12 panes. Above a shared cartway, which is common with No. 39, a two-over-four-pane sash window is located in the centre of the terrace. The roof is slate and gabled at the ends, with brick stacks featuring brick shafts and cornices. The interior has not been inspected, but may contain features of architectural interest.
