Description

This is a late 1860s terraced house on Croft Road in Torquay. It is constructed of stucco with a slate roof and a stack featuring a rendered shaft with a platband. The house has a double-depth plan with a central entrance.

The symmetrical three-bay front has deep eaves accentuated by an eaves band and modillion brackets, along with outer rusticated pilasters that are shared with the adjacent properties. The central front door is half-glazed, set within a moulded architrave featuring keyblocks. The ground floor has two windows, and the first floor has three, all with moulded architraves and keyblocks. They retain their original four-pane sash windows with horizontal glazing bars. Balconies were added to the first-floor windows in the 20th century. The interior remains uninspected, but may contain features of architectural interest.
