Description
A pair of semi-detached houses dating from the mid-19th century, located on Parkhill Road, Torquay. The houses have rendered walls and a hipped slate roof with a rendered ridge stack. They follow a double-depth plan and feature projecting outer porches. The two-storey, four-window front includes narrow, blind windows above the doors and canted bay windows on the first floor, with 2/2-pane sashes. The ground floor bays are wider and also have 2/2-pane sashes with wood mullions. A cornice and end pilasters frame the ground floor, with overlights to 20th-century replacement doors. Small 20th-century roof dormers have been added. The interior of the buildings was not inspected. Spear-headed railings define the forecourt of number 23.
