Description
Bell Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on Bell Lane in Blagdon, Paignton. It is constructed from local stone rubble and features a hipped slate roof with brick stacks that have platbands. The building has a double-depth main block that is two rooms wide, with a central entrance and a service block set back to the right. It stands two storeys tall and has a symmetrical three-bay front. The central entrance has a recessed plank door with a porch hood, which is currently covered in corrugated asbestos. On the ground floor, there are two early 19th-century three-light small-pane iron-framed windows with segmental heads, and on the first floor, there are two similar windows on the left and right, along with a central two-light window. The interior has not been inspected but may contain interesting features.
