Description

This boundary stone is located against the south garden wall of The Battery in Brixham. It dates from 1886 and is a short, square, flat-topped block made of granite. The stone is incised with the letters "W D" and an arrow, along with the number "No.3" below. It was likely erected to mark the land belonging to the Shoalstone Point Battery after the War Department sold the rest of Berry Head.
