Description

This is a group of five similar chest tombs located one meter east of the south porch of the Church of St. Mary. They date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and are made of limestone. Each tomb features a chamfered base and top with plain sides. The ledger tops are inscribed. From north to south, the inscriptions read: a. Edward Church; b. an illegible inscription dated 1806; c. an illegible inscription; d. an illegible inscription; e. Elizabeth Grant.
