Description

Court Close is an early 18th-century building that has been modernised. It features an 'L' plan layout, with the rear section having one and a half storeys constructed of rubble and topped with a modern tile roof. The building includes two modern gabled half dormers and two enlarged windows on the ground floor. There is a projecting lean-to entrance and a gabled projection that houses a tall chimney on the left side, which has stone tile slopes. The roof is half-hipped on the left, with a chimney located on the right-hand gable. Inside, the west room boasts moulded beams and a large fireplace that was formerly equipped with a bread oven. The two-storey return to the east features a window that retains oak ovolo mullions. Court Close is included for its group value.
