Description
The Plough Inn is a building that has been altered and is probably from the 18th century. It features a long thatched roof with a half hipped design. The north side is made of painted rubble, while the rear is constructed from a mix of rubble and chalk. The gable end facing the street is finished in pebbledash and has one range of windows, including a mid-19th century tripartite sash window on the ground floor. There are three dormers that have been cut into the thatch and three additional ground floor windows. To the right, there is a gabled porch made of painted brick. A central modern lavatory extension has been added to the building.
