Description
North Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th century and earlier, featuring an L-shaped plan. It has two storeys and a higher wing of one and a half storeys to the west. The building has old tile roofs with half hips, while the west wing is constructed of brick. The east wing is made of sarsen stone with stone and brick dressings, with the oldest part located in the center of the east wing. There is a flat-roofed modern extension situated between the arms of the L to the south.
On the northeast elevation, the right side has two storeys with two vertical sliding sash windows that include glazing bars, cambered heads, and flush frames. To the left is a modern gabled porch. The left portion of the elevation has one and a half storeys, featuring two dormers with modern casements and one vertical sliding sash window with glazing bars. To the right, there are two irregular casements.
