Description

41 High Street is a building dating from around 1700, making it older than the adjacent No 42, which appears to have been added later. The structure is two and a half storeys tall, constructed of red brick with blue headers, and features an asbestos slate roof. The corners of the building are accentuated by chamfered stone quoins. On the first floor, there are four sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has been modernized, featuring replica quoins and a plinth, along with modern plate glass oriel bays. The building also includes two gabled dormers and has a gable end chimney on the left side, with a stone gable end on the right.
