Description
No. 8 Sheep Street is an 18th-century building situated on a much older site. It has undergone significant alterations and stands two storeys tall, constructed of painted rubble. The original stone tiles have been replaced with modern ones. To the right, there is a large, modern, two-storey square bay that has been altered, featuring a slight dormer in the roof above. The first floor has two 2-light windows, while the ground floor includes a square bay on the left. A central through passage provides access. At the rear, there is a two-storey early 19th-century row of cottages made of red brick with blue headers, featuring a band above the ground floor. This row forms a rear extension that reflects a sociological context.
