Description

No. 5 Sheep Street is a mid-18th century building. It is two and a half storeys high, with a plastered front. Visible features include a band above the ground floor and three windows with glazing bar sashes. There are two small, hipped, angled bays at ground floor level. The right-hand side of the building is distinguished by an eight-panel raised and fielded door, surmounted by a bracketted flat hood and a transom light with marginal glazing. A gabled dormer is also present. The roof is covered with Roman tiles, swept up at the eaves. A brick chimney is located on the left.
