Description
This milestone, dating from the mid to late 18th century, is located 15 yards to the north-east of Dunkirk Farmhouse. It is set into a field wall and features a semi-circular headed ashlar block. The cast iron plate on the milestone has a semi-circular head and is inscribed with the distances: 'XVIII/CIRENCESTER/VIII/TETBURY/XV/BATH'.
