Description

The windmill tower, located in the garden of number 3, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble brought to courses and features a circular, tapering design with four stories. The tower has segmental headed openings, with four doors at the ground floor, three of which are blocked. The first floor includes two long openings on the east and west sides, as well as two shorter openings. The second floor has four smaller openings, two of which have two-light frames, while the truncated third floor contains two additional openings. This windmill is noted as the best remaining example in the Avon area.
