ST 68 SE WESTERLEIGH C.P. - at NGR 694802 Dodmoor Old Farmhouse 1/311 II

Farmhouse at NGR 694802, now stable. C17. Ramdom pennant rubble, double Roman tiled roof. L-plan, former through passage. it storeys and 2 windows, ground floor has 3 stable doors, 2 steep gables rising to ridge height, loading door to left and 2-light casement to right, all with timber lintels; lower wing attached to left with 2 stable doors. Right return has blocked window in gable end, corrugated iron lean-to. Rear has 2 gables as on front, blocked window in gable to right, blocked rear through passage door and blocked 2-light casement at ground floor right; later C17 lower 1½ storey rear wing to left with gable end to rear and small gable to ridge height to right, small door to right with timber lintel. Interior: not inspected. The farmhouse was abandoned in C19 when new farmhouse was built.
