Description
This cartshed and granary, located 10 yards south of Ashwicke Home Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges and saddle stones. The building stands two storeys high and has a large arched entry on the right, complete with imposts and a keystone. To the left, there is a square-headed entry with a small loft door above it. This structure is included for its group value, as it significantly enhances the setting of the farmhouse and the surrounding barns.
