Description
This group of model farm buildings, dating from around 1858, includes barns, a granary, cartsheds, pigsties, shelter sheds, and walls that enclose and divide stock yards. The buildings are constructed from coursed squared rubble and feature slate roofs with coped raised verges on kneelers.
To the north, there is a single-storey U-shaped range of open shelter sheds with closed stalls and workshops on the sides. Low rubble walls to the south create the stock yards. To the south, the E-shaped range includes a barn and granary in the central section, with workshop and stall wings on either side. The south elevation has open cartsheds, a gabled porch leading to the barn, a mounting block, and former pigsties to the right.
