Description
This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located about 17 metres south of the tower of the Church of St. James the Great in Wick and Abson. Made of limestone, the tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and a moulded plinth. It has heavy bolster ends with a cornice on the east and west sides. The central panel on the north side displays draped curtains and twined ribbons, although the inscriptions have worn away over time.
