Description

Lower Cullyhall Farmhouse is a building dating from around 1700. It features rendered walls and a hipped pantile roof, although the dormers have been removed. The farmhouse has a symmetrical two-storey front with seven bays. The windows are plate glass sashes set in bolection architraves, with moulded cills and flat cornices on the ground floor windows. The central doorway is framed by a bolection surround and topped with a large semi-circular stone shell hood supported by enriched folded scroll brackets, leading to a six-panel door.

At the rear, there are two gabled extensions, which include several two-light stone mullion and transom windows, one of which is leaded, and another featuring rectangular dripmoulds. To the right of the centre is a hipped stair turret. The right-hand extension has been modernised, while the left-hand extension is a single storey and retains an oval monolithic window on the east elevation and two moulded mullion windows on the west elevation.
