Description
This is a pumphouse located 100 yards east of Swangrove House, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is built of coursed rubble and features a hipped roof made of Cotswold stone slate. The structure has two storeys and includes single slit windows. There is a square-headed door on the southwest side, and a string course runs all around the building. The pumphouse and its reservoir behind were constructed to enhance the water supply for Swangrove House.
