Description
This is a mid-19th century terrace of shops and dwellings on the east side of High Street, Oldland. It comprises five properties, numbered 207 to 215. The terrace is built of snecked pennant stone rubble with a coped parapet, which is ramped up over numbers 209 and 211, indicating that these properties are taller and double fronted. The roofs are slate, with coped verges, and feature rendered brick chimneys. There are a total of eleven windows across the terrace: 2, 3, 2, 2 and 2. The window frames are exposed and have cambered heads. Number 207 retains glazing bar sashes, while number 209 has plate glass sashes. The remaining windows are modern casements. Each doorway has a bracketted flat hood; the hood over number 209 has reeded moulding. The doors are four- and six-panel doors with transom lights, with the exception of number 209.
