Description
St Anne's Vicarage is a building constructed between 1849 and 1850 at a cost of £800. It is designed in the Tudor-Gothick style and features an asymmetrical layout. The exterior is made of rubble with a pantile roof and diagonal chimney stacks.
The south front includes a lateral chimney on the right and a gable with a cut finial on the left. The building has two storeys, with concealed attics, and features three windows and an oriel on the first floor. The windows are 2-light segment-headed casements with patterned glazing and drips, set in a gable, along with a similar 3-light window; all have mullions with moulded heads.
To the left, there is a large bay, and a smaller central bay. The entrance front has two and a half storeys, with a gabled break to the left and a gabled porch at the angle. The doorway features a Tudor arch, and there is a parapet bay to the right. The roof is pantiled with stone eaves courses and coped verges.
