Description
Number 62, known as The Queen's Head Public House, and numbers 64 to 70 are a row of four 18th century houses, with the inn incorporating a late 17th century or early 18th century house on the right. The Queen's Head is two storeys high, rendered, with a modern pantile roof and an end gable to the right, featuring rendered stacks. The front has a two-storey tower porch projection with coping. There are one and two windows, which are later casements in exposed frames. A plain door opening is located to the right of the projection. To the right gable end, there is a lean-to outbuilding with a plain door and a window above it. A former mullion window with a drip mould is also present on the gable end. The adjoining houses are three storeys tall, rendered, with pantile roofs and brick chimneys. Each has one or two windows, which are glazing bar sashes in exposed frames, and plain doors in cambered openings.
